By Our Reporter
SHILLONG, May 25: East Khasi Hills Police will challenge the anticipatory bails granted by the KHADC Court to nine persons after receiving postmortem report of Trophimos Khongmawloh, the alleged victim of an assault-murder case.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem on Monday said the postmortem of the victim’s body was done on the spot after exhumation of the body on May 18 at Pynter village.
“We will get a clearer picture only after getting the postmortem and other forensic reports,” Syiem said.
