SHORT NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed tenders subsequently to be drawn up in M.P.W.D. F-2 form of tender agreement duly affixed with a non-refundable court fee stamp of Rs. 2000.00 (Rupees Two Thousand) only, are hereby invited in Two bid system (ie Technical & Financial) by the Undersigned on behalf of the Governor of Meghalaya from Registered Class-I P.W.D. (Roads) contractors of Meghalaya State for under mentioned work and will be received in this office (in Room No.210) on 8th June 2026 upto 3:00 P.M.The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3:30 P.M. in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who so desire to witness the opening of the bids. If the date of receiving of tenders happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be considered as the date of receiving and opening of tenders.

Detailed tender papers may be obtained from the Technical Branch (Roads) (Room No.210) of this office from 25th May 2026 to 29th May 2026 upto 3:00 P.M.on payment of Rs 4000.00 (Rupees Four Thousand) only as applicable, non-refundable in cash payable to the Cashier of this office on any working day, from 11:00 A.M. upto 3:00 P.M.

(i) Name of Work: – Construction of Road from Lower Chasingre to Dapu Gittim (0.00 – 1.06 Km)

(ii) Approximate value of work :- Work Component = Rs 4,02,39,000.00

Maintenance (2 years)= Rs 8,31,000.00

Rs. 4,10,70,000.00

(Rupees Four Crores Ten Lakhs Seventy Thousand ) only

4. Construction Of Retaining Walls

(iv) Time of completion: – 24 (Twenty Four) months from the date of issue of Final WorkOrder

(v) Rates: – Rates are to be quoted on flat percentage basis, i.e, AT PAR/ABOVE the Schedule of Rates for Roads and Bridge under Tura and Williamnagar Circle for the year 2018-19.

(vii)Payment of bills will be made subjectto availability of fund.

Successful Non-Tribal Contractor shall have to furnish valid Trading License from the Concerned Autonomous District Council in Meghalaya prior to issuing of Work Order
